Safety First
Because you are having a pool party, of course the pool is the most important part. Make sure that you have all your pool chemicals balanced and that the water is clean and free of debris. You want the pool deck to be free of anything that could lead anyone to trip or fall. During the pool party, be sure to always keep an eye on everyone in the pool, especially if there are children present, to ensure that everyone stays safe.
Plan Activities
It’s a good idea to invest in some fun pool toys for everyone to enjoy. You could get some beach balls, floating devices, and even a pool volleyball net! If your pool is on the smaller side, you could include activities outside of the pool as well for guests to enjoy. You could designate a space for fun card and board games. It’s also a good idea to have an area just for those that want to relax, have conversation, and enjoy the sun.
Evening Lighting
Who says the pool party has to end when the sun goes down? If you really want to throw a great pool party, invest in lighting for your entire backyard. Lighting up the walkways as well as just having some decorational landscape lighting is sure to keep the party going and just add a nice aesthetic to your backyard. You could even invest in some LED lights for the pool so that guests can take an evening swim. Tiki lights, string lights, and tree lights are a great way to transform your backyard into a beautiful summer oasis that will surely wow your guests.
